The ProfiDrum Bakki Showers add an extra Bio filter for koi ponds which work very well at removing ammonia and nitrites from the water. Bakki showers work best with a large flow of water, the water becomes highly aerated as it flows down through the media gassing off, where as bio chambers ideally require a slower flow to create more dwell or contact time, particularly using plastic media.
