The ProfiDrum BioFilter 40 is a biological filter that can easily be added to existing filtration systems. They are the best companion for our Rotary Drum Filters (RDF). Whether its the ProfiDrum Stainless or ProfiDrum Eco series, together they create an unbeatable combination.
ProfiDrum systems are based on the principle of a moving bed and are supplied with a unique and patented bio-carrier that maximises effectiveness of the filtration process. The ProfiDrum BioFilter 40 comes gravity fed ready, but also can be converted to pump fed.
The ProfiDrum BioFilter 40 comes with 50 ltr K Plus Advanced Filter Media as standard and you can go up to 200 ltr K Plus Advanced Filter Media. They come complete with Lid, a 316 stainless steel false floor to contain the K Plus media, a 340 mm Dia Gummi Jaeger diffuser and 80 Ltr per min air pump as standard.

The ProfiDrum BioFilter 40 moving bed systems are delivered in PolyPropylene, our Shower Filters are also supplied in PolyPropylene. Both systems are modular built and are easily added to when more filtration capacity is needed in the future.
